Children’s Mental Health Services (CMHS)
CMHS provides services to children and adolescents between the ages of three (3) and seventeen (17) with serious emotional and behavioral problems causing significant disruption in their lives who reside in Bell, Coryell, Hamilton, Lampasas and Milam counties. The goals of our services are to strengthen family units thereby reducing out-of-home placements while improving the child or adolescent’s ability to function within his/her home, school and community. Because children and adolescents cannot effectively be helped in isolation, we work closely with their families and other significant influences in their lives. Services are clinic, home, school and community based. Services include assessment and referral, medication related services, counseling, skills training, family training and support, case management and case stabilization. Insurance accepted are Medicaid and CHIP. Contact (254) 298-7171 for information or to schedule an intake appointment.
