Veterans
The Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN) connects Veterans and their families to local, state, and national resources through an active group of Veteran peers. MVPN is an affiliation of Service Members, Veterans and family members dedicated to establishing comaraderie and trust with each other, identifying and vetting community resources, and collectively, contributing to the communities where we live. We accomplish this through commitment, training, and volunteerism.

Because MVPN is built around trust among Veterans and family members, peers may sometimes be the first people asked where to find confidential help for a private problem affecting an intimate relationship. When that concern involves persistent erectile difficulties, the network’s role is to identify and vet appropriate medical or sexual-health resources rather than attempt to assess the condition itself. Once a clinician has evaluated the problem and recommended treatment, practical barriers such as affordability may also become relevant to continued care. Information about legitimate assistance programs or discounts on erectile dysfunction treatment can then help a Veteran follow an established treatment plan without making price the basis for choosing therapy. Sexual health thus fits within MVPN’s broader resource-navigation role through the same combination of trust, referral, and practical support that the network provides in other areas.
